To provide a relaxed, but high-quality space for 130 guests for a seated daytime wedding breakfast and a further 50 evening guests.
Guests were to receive reception drinks on arrival and subsequent to this, a pay bar was to be available. A dance and DJ area was also to be provided within the marquee.
There was an initial meeting at the venue with the bride and groom. They decided on an L shaped Capri Marquee to help create extra usable outside space. Chiavari chairs, a black and white dancefloor and a white LED bar were also chosen. Lighting within the Marquee was to be uplighters and fairy lights.
What our team provided
The space was created over two days. Our team installed three joined Capri Marquees, complete with coconut matt flooring. The team installed the white bar at one end of the Marquee with the dancefloor and DJ area at the other. A mixture of round tables and trestle tables, complete with linens were set out in the area between the bar and dancefloor. As well as internal lights, fairy lights were added to the surrounding trees, Ivy was placed around the archways. Within the L shape created by the Marquee, tables, chairs and hay bales were placed to create a beautiful outside chillout area.
On the day
Our experienced staff were present for the whole day. Firstly they were there to greet the wedding party back from the church and to serve a choice of reception drinks on the lawn. During the meal and evening reception, our team ensured the smooth running of the bar and were on hand to answer any queries. The day was a great success and was an amazing experience not only for the bride and groom but for all of the guests.
